Irish Academy of Dramatic Art is Ireland’s most ‘personal’ Drama and Performing Arts School offering a fresh and innovative approach to Drama, Music and Dance which is student-centred and aims to develop creativity and self-confidence. Courses are designed to suit students of all ages from six to adult, from beginners through to advanced level. Our classes are kept small to ensure individual attention, and we get to know our students so that we can tailor our workshops to meet their needs.

Emphasis is on participation and teamwork and workshops are lively stimulating and fun to bring out the best in our students.

Activities include:

Acting / Drama, Beginers through advanced level, Script, Poetry, Improvisation, Mime & Movement, Voice Work, Mask Work and Play-Making. Singing & Musical Theatre, Breath Control, Vocal Technique, Songs of Student’s choice, songs from Musical Theatre Repertoire, Technique for putting across a song etc.. Dance Contemporary, Hip Hop, Modern, Jazz and Stage Movement. Other courses include Make-a-Movie, Playwriting and Performance,  Stanislavski & Physical Theatre. During the Summer months we run Summer Camps for young people and Courses for Adults. Throughout the year we hold regular Showcase Performances in addition to Performances in Professional Theatres, to give our students genuine performing experience.
