Since Irish Academy of Dramatic Arts started it has grown significantly and now operates from four centres. Many of our former students are now studying the Performing Arts in full-time courses both here and abroad, or have gone on to work professionally in the Performing Arts. Irish Academy of Dramatic Arts agency has seen many students cast in Films T.V., Theatre Productions and Advertisements.

 

The shows we have produced are too numerous to mention but include the following:

  • May 2001 “All The World’s a Stage” - A Potted History of the Theatre told through Drama, Music, Mime and Dance, Pavilion Theatre, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin.
  • May 2002 “Jellybean” - A selection of plays from around the World staged at the Pavilion Theatre and The Rupert Guinness Theatre, including The Love of Three Oranges, Ice Wolf and The Lost Spear.
  • May 2003, “Witches” by Roald Dahl Pavilion Theatre
  • May 2003 , “Red Curtain Blank Canvas” - Drama, Music and Dance inspired by the world of Art and Artists. Pavilion Theatre.
  • May 2003 Studio Performance Adults and Youth Dun Laoghaire
  • June 2004, “Out of the Blue” An extravaganza of Drama, Dance, Music, Film and Puppetry inspired by the Sea. Also performed in the Pavilion Theatre.
  • May 2005 “Outside the Box” A show devised with the students incorporating Drama Music Dance and original writing from Ben Butler Intermediate Student
  • July 2005 Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Intermediate students Pavilion Theatre
  • July 2005 “Fierce” an original musical written by Senior student Rachelle Brady set in the Modelling World.
  • May 2006 “The White Crow”, incorporating Drama, Dance and Music on the theme of segregation and racism. Pavilion Theatre Dun Laoghaire.
  • May 2006 Adult Showcase “Gym and Tonic”, a musical devised by the group satirising modern Ireland
  • July 2006 Summer School Variety show  at the Pavilion Theatre
  • August 2006 Summer School Variety show at the Civic Theatre Tallaght, in association with the Civic Theatre.
